We decided to make Cecilia in our 100% super soft and seasonless merino (in addition to the domestic organic cotton version ) because the classics are the best and elevated classics are even better. The merino fabric feels amazing against the skin and drapes like silk. You won't want to take it off!

She’s named after the patron saint of music, Cecilia, because this is the tank you’ll love to wear to concerts, for casual porch nights spent listening to music with friends or with our Deborah or matching Leigh trousers for an elevated but always effortless look.

 

Details + Fit
Cecilia is designed to be a slightly looser fit- perfect to create a gathered effect when tucked into high waisted bottoms and also work untucked with the ribbed knit skirt or similar slim fitting choice. The flattering front and back scoop show the most beautiful parts of the female form.

5 stars for fabric and quality, 3 stars for fit. I really wish this had worked for me. The fabric is beautiful, and it is so unusual to find a tank that has both a front and back scoop. That really elevates this above a basic black tank. However, the scoop on this is really wide, which sets the straps pretty far apart. I have slightly sloped shoulders and because of the strap placement so far to the edge of my collarbones, I couldn't get the straps to stay up, so this was sadly a return for me.

The best version of a black tank! I love all the pieces in this merino fabric particularly for travel as they really can be worn multiple times without washing. Easy to layer and dress up or down. Coordinates beautifully with the Leigh pants. I will say the first time I hand washed the tank I was worried it had shrunk, but I just gently reshaped and after wearing a little bit it seemed to magically loosen up again.

My favorite tank top. The merino is silky soft and the drape is beautiful. The wide straps make it work appropriate for my setting, and I've found that I can wear it year round. Simple and easy to wear.

I was hemming and hawing about this tank for the longest time because it just looked like a basic black tank. After I received my package and felt for myself how buttery soft this tank is, I couldn't believe I had hesitated on buying this for so long. The quality is excellent - the fabric has a beautiful sheen to it and the top drapes so nicely. I'm 5'2 so I brought this into my tailors to have the shoulder straps shortened a bit and now it fits and rests on my body perfectly.
