I wore this dress to dinner on a first date last night amidst a heat advisory in Charleston. I stayed cool and comfortable in the dress. The merino wool is incredibly lightweight & stayed completely unwrinkled. This dress is amazing because it skims the body beautifully and the internal shelf bra makes wearing it so comfortable and effortless. If you make it in another color - I will be lining up for that as well! (& my date was very impressed too!)
My husband surprised me with this dress for a trip to Paris and it is all I need in my suitcase. Love!!
I LOVE this dress! I find myself reaching for it whenever I want to look my best- out to dinner with my husband or friends. It can be dressed up or down and is super comfortable. Highly recommend and TTS.
This slip dress from Vincent James is so elegant! It has a clean, streamlined silhouette with a built in bra at the bust line. You can wear it with a pair of heels or it looks equally chic with a pair of sandals. I will wear it into early fall layered under a sweater or blazer. It will be a staple in my closet as are all of my Vincent James pieces!
This summer I was on a hunt for dresses that I could wear without a bra, and this one is great. It will be wonderful layered in colder months, too. I normally don't like myself in slip dresses -- I feel they don't flatter my pear-shape. But VJ Designs cuts dresses so well. There's enough room at the hips for me. I was wavering between XS and S and am glad I went with the XS as it's almost too big for me up top. S would have been too big. So grateful to this brand for caring about fabulous, non-toxic fabrics, and giving it to us in chic shapes. Just wish more of the staple pieces (dresses, pants) came in brown tones! I love these clothes but white and black aren't the best colors on me.
I used to think that I didn't like the look of v-necks on my body. I thought my chest and shoulders were too broad and that clothing with v-neck necklines further accentuated that part of my body. However, this dress made me fall back in love with my body. I put this dress on and felt strong and feminine. I still had my broad chest and shoulders, but the feminine design and the drape off this dress helped accentuate my body in a way that made me appreciate my strength and curves. It also fits any occasion.
